KILLER IS OUR SECOND SINGLE RELEASE AFTER SLENG TENG - Recorded as 'live'- just using two microphones, with the band fully set up in the studio with Vocal fold-back. I don't even remember ever playing it much before this, but it felt like we'd been playing it for years...it was 'just' a riff-We gave it the live Improvisation Treatment & it went Fucking Mental - that's why it's 13 minutes long - We didn't want to stop - The Bass Sound is so Fucking Brilliant - it's got that Analogue Distortion and Resonance - Pure Driving Funky Magic - you can hear the air moving. I absolutely love this track for the Raw Power, Energy and the Sheer Fucking Ride. For me Killer is Reducer - if you ever want one track that sums up what we did live, this is it.
