Praise be & Salutations Brother's & Sister's, in our own inimitable way Reducer have found the filthy luka to release 1 more autonomous Vinyl Recording to Celebrate our 40th Anniversary - a 12" 1986 Reggae Discomix of Sleng Teng, inna original Reducer style, is called "Sleng Ting" which was recorded before Rich joined the band. This track has never been heard, released or remastered. It features Snake only on vocals with a keyboard bassline played by Dave. Percussion & Mixing by Hooly aka THA.
The other side is "Sensaround" & Dub vershun, a track we improvised, played & recorded between other tracks during a session in late 1987, not long after Rich joined. It features Rich only on vocals, thus giving the record a perfect balance of each artist. Rich also appears on bass guitar, Hooly on Guitar & Rhythm loops & was also mixed by Hooly aka THA. This track was never played live. Thus, our last offering to the Gods of Music will be the final AUTONOMOUS Reducer release by us, as the legendary archive hath run dry...there are many other recordings, some of which may find their way onto vinyl, just not funded by ourselves.
